Gardner Hathaway, LLC provides employee training and organization development consulting for c-level executives and owners, their managers, supervisors and emerging leaders, and sales organizations. GH was originally formed as James Lorenzen & Associates in 1983 serving clients throughout the United States and Canada, specializing in sales and management productivity and organization development. The earliest clients came from the daily and weekly newspaper industry, but within four years other companies in financial services, consumer products, and other industries began our services through various publications and convention appearances by our CEO, James Lorenzen. As a business owner, Jim held formal training sessions five mornings a week, 52-weeks a year and his companies were soon outperforming much larger and well-known competitors. This commitment to employee development and the track record he achieved lead to a successful professional speaking and consulting career which began when, as a joke, a competitor asked Jim if he'd like to train his people to compete against him. He was surprised when Jim agreed - and amazed when he did it! James Lorenzen's high-content and high-energy sessions have headlined more than 500 national and international conventions throughout the United States, Canada, and the U.K. Clients have included Foster Grant, Hobie Cat, CapCities ABC, the National Management Association, H.R. Textron, Hearst Corporation, Val-Pak, and scores of others. Jim has also been featured on Nightingale-Conant's Sound Selling and appeared on American Airlines Sky Radio heard on more than 19,000 flights. Articles by or about James Lorenzen have appeared in Sales & Marketing Management Magazine, The American Marketing Association's Marketing News, Master Salesmanship, Selling Power, California Publisher, Publisher's Auxillary, Ink Journal, Agency Sales Magazine, Manage, and scores of others. Jim is also the Founding Principal of a national financial consulting business. Gardner Hathaway Strategic PartnersRoger Allen, Ph.D.,Roger is a program developer and a management and organizational design consultant based in Littleton, Colorado with a dual background in psychology and organizational behavior. Since graduating with his doctorate from the University of Minnesota, he has provided consulting, training, and team building to help organizations improve their results and create work cultures of productive and committed employees. Preston C. PondPreston, also based in Littleton, Colorado, works with Roger on the development of many of the programs Gardner Hathaway has adopted. He worked as an Organization Development Manager for Proctor & Gamble, involved in plant start-ups in the U.S., Japan, and Mexico and later became Director of Organization Development for Clark Equipment Company. He has consulted to many companies in the Fortune 500. 360 Solutions360 Solutions, co-publishes program participant enrollment materials with Dr. Allen and Mr. Pond and handles distribution logistics of these materials for Gardner Hathaway. |
